Trying to write a story about the AUM Authors Bookshelf in the AUM Library Tower is proving to be quite difficult actually. I haven’t been able to find much information as of yet, but there is still time to go and hunt down people who can help me in the Library. But my biggest problem was how to make people care about the story. I mean I care because I know that it took those authors a lot of effort to get published and to get their books displayed at their university. However, how do I make other people care? I watched Andrew Stanton’s TED talk about story telling twice in a desperate attempt to figure out how I can make people care about the story. I do believe my best bet is to try and get the authors themselves to answer questions, like in an interview sort of thing. I think that’d be a great way to get the story and just go from there.
Ooh, good idea! Too bad the person I’m writing a story about is dead… XD Can’t wait to read your interview thingies!
If I even get to interview them….
I understand about wondering how to get people to care. It seems like it’s easier to get people to care when you have some cute animal or toy conveying the story. Good luck on the interviewing them! No doubt that would be interesting to read.
Yeah I do feel a little hopeless sometimes. But I shall prevail!
